In Conversation with Adam Levy: On Effective Practice

Originally published December 13, 2025

This week, I had the great pleasure of spending an hour talking with Adam Levy about how to make the most of your guitar practice sessions. You may not know Adam by name, but you've definitely heard his guitar playing. Among a laundry list of credits, he's featured on classic recordings by Norah Jones and Tracy Chapman. He's also a fabulous teacher and a genuinely nice guy. I encourage you to check out his Patreon and his book String Theories. I really enjoyed talking with him and hope to do so again soon!
